The Life Insurance Industry in the Philippines and Asia Pacific has long had Aces in its midst. These aces are the best performing partners in the business, the potent resources that propel their respective companies and the industry to unprecedented heights. In fact, they may rightfully form the elite circle of life insurance agents in the region.
LUAP, being the first to concretize this movement in Asia, has gone through an exciting and rigorous coordinative task of identifying and selecting the aces to form the elite Asian Circle of Excellence (ACE).
The process required a broad search for some elusive characteristics, that rare combination of professionalism and commitment of performance and persistence. Surprisingly, the search did not bring us far. It is because the Awards is essentially about who we are and what we do, the dreams we build, the families we help to keep whole and the many testimonies to the miracle of life insurance – the gift of life!
ACE is presented by the respective insurance firms to 10 select agents within their “smaller circle” according to the standards that the firm has independently drawn. As we mature in this exercise, the vision is to evolve a standard or set of criteria for the entire industry.
CWP ( Chartered Wealth Planner )
1. Distinguish yourself from the ordinary financial advisor by learning how to professionally, credibly and competently guide your clients into crafting a holistic and comprehensive family wealth management plan on a single platform;
2. Master and implement, through an integrated and comprehensive report, the single platform management protocol of wealth creation ( investment ), wealth protection ( insurance and health care planning ) and wealth preservation ( estate planning ) to build long-term value for your client through sustained advisory relationship;
3. Earn both Certified Wealth Planner ( CWP ) designations; and
4. Obtain post-certification support through a free 6-month access to continuing education that WMC will be conducting on-line.
FChFP ( Fellow Chartered Financial Practitioner )
The Fellow Chartered Financial Practioner (FChFP)
The FChFP programme was established in 2001 as a professional designation for Asia Pacific Financial Services Association (APFinSA). The FChFP designation has been approved and adopted by the APFinSA Council as the joint and common professional certification mark for our Member Associations. The FChFP programme is a professional designation targeted at the Financial Services professionals in the region.
The FChFP Programme is highly academic and Practice-oriented based on Real Life Case Study. Graduates of this program have gained in-depth knowledge and improvement of Financial Advisory skills based on a highly organized and systematic manner approach. The FChFP programme and designation is recognized internationally in 9 countries across the Asia Pacific Region. Today, more than 2,000 Financial Practioners have successfully graduated from the FChFP, profiling the designation as the international designation for Financial Professionals today.
The FChFP programme is distinguished and unique in the following ways:
FChFP graduands are able to provide sound advice to their clients in a systematic manner, advising on all levels of a comprehensive financial plan. FChFP graduands are fully qualified and experienced to advise their clients.
The FChFP curriculum is highly academic based as well practice oriented. As part of the programme, real-life case studies are incorporated.
FChFP graduands are to have a minimum 30 hours continuing professional development education for every two years to maintain their designation. FChFP graduands are always upgrading their skills and knowledge even after graduation.
The FChFP designation has presences in 9 different countries, and being recognised in 12 different countries. The international recognition allows FChFP graduands to be recognised as a fully qualified financial practitioner worldwide.
